2020 Chamber Christmas Parade Cancelled

2020 PARADE CANCELLED After much discussion, it is with great sadness that I must tell you that this year’s Chamber Christmas Parade has been cancelled. After consulting with The City of Somerset, Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Lake Cumberland Health Department and numerous local business leaders, the decision was made to suspend this year’s parade. We know that many in our community look forward each year to participating. The decision to cancel was difficult but based on our mission to keep our community safe. We will be providing full refunds for all people currently registered. Expect your checks sometime within the next few weeks. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. We look forward to celebrating with all of you at next year’s parade. Please help us spread the word.

December 1st Chamber of Commerce Monthly Luncheon Cancelled

Due to imposed restrictions from Gov. Andy Beshear and the Commonwealth of Kentucky, we will unfortunately not be able to host our December Chamber luncheon. New restrictions currently limit event spaces such as The Center for Rural Development to 25 people. We hope to be able to bring you our “State of the Chamber” Address at our January 5th Chamber luncheon. Please stay tuned and keep our business community in your thoughts and prayers as we move forward.

2020 Business of the Year Awards Information

3The Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to nominate individuals and businesses for the awards listed below. Winners will be recognized at the Chamber Awards Banquet on Thursday, January 21, 2021. To apply, please complete the attached nomination form completely and submit by Friday, December 11, 2020. Procedure for Nominating Nomination forms must be submitted to the Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce.  The deadline is Friday, December 11, 2020. An Independent Business Selection Committee will meet thereafter to select and determine the honorees. The announcement and recognition of the honorees will be made at the Chamber of Commerce Banquet on Thursday, January 21, 2021.
