Somerset-Pulaski County Clean Sweep

Volunteers are invited to pick up roadside litter throughout Pulaski County during the annual PRIDE Clean Sweep. Volunteers can pick up litter any time between 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

PRE-REGISTRATION ENCOURAGED.

Volunteer groups are encouraged to register before April 20. They will be assigned an area to clean and receive their trash bags, gloves, and safety vests early.

Day-Of Registration:

Volunteers also may register and receive their cleanup supplies on April 20. Day-of registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. at The Center for Rural Development.

Your Filled Trash Bags

If you pick up litter in one of these spots, please leave your filled bags beside the road and the Highway Department will pick them up:

  • US 27
  • Downtown Somerset
  • Industrial Park
  • KY 914 Bypass

If you pick up litter somewhere else, then please call 677-0320 to reach Danny Masten, Pulaski County Solid Waste coordinator. He will arrange pick up of you filled bags.
