The Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce announces the hiring of new employee.

Courtney Ikerd has joined the staff as the Administrative Assistant / Finance Director. She will manage all daily administrative office operations as well as supervise the day-to-day finances of the Chamber, including responsibility for all cash receipts, accounts payable, and cash disbursements.

“We are very excited to welcome Courtney into our Chamber team,” said Bobby Clue, Pulaski Chamber of Commerce Executive Director.  “She has a strong understanding of our community and will be an excellent asset to our Chamber businesses.”

Ikerd is a Pulaski County native and graduate of University of the Cumberland’s and Eastern Kentucky University; with a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Business Administration respectively. Courtney looks forward to assisting the Executive Director in achieving the Chamber’s goals and initiatives for our local community.

When not working, Courtney enjoys spending time with her family. Courtney is married to Frank Ikerd, IV and has one daughter, Ashton. She is a member ofScienceHillChurchof the Nazarene, parent elect of the Pulaski Elementary School Site Based Council and a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
