The Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce is inviting community members to participate in the 1st annual Shamrock Shuffle 5k run/walk on Saturday, March 16th at 10:00AM to benefit our local business community.
Race participants will begin at the Beacon Hill Baptist Church and will wind runners through back roads towards our final destination of Stonebrook Shopping Center in Burnside, KY.
“The Shamrock Shuffle 5K is a perfect compliment to the weight loss challenge our Chamber is currently partnering on with the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital,” Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bobby Clue said, “This run / walk promises to have something for everyone, so register today to secure your spot”.
After the races participants are encouraged to stay and enjoy the post-race party which will be sponsored by Sully’s Restaurant. The post-party will feature live musical entertainment and St. Patrick’s Day food and drink specials. There will also be a costume contest for the best dressed race participants.
Venture Cabs & Burnside Tourism will be providing free rides for race participants after the race to take them back to the starting line to pick up their cars.
