Get Paid to Pick Up Trash

Are you the parent or guardian of a child involved in a Middle or High School Club or Booster Organization such as: FBLA, DECA, Robotics Club, FFA, JROTC, Archery, Marching Band, Football, Basketball, Baseball, Softball Boosters …… or something similar.

If so and your club is looking for an opportunity to make some extra money, the Chamber of Commerce would like to talk with you about our “Operation Beautification” Clean Up Program.

Basically, we will be partnering with the Pulaski County Solid Waste Department and their “Litter Abatement Program” to offer paid cleanup opportunities to Middle & High School Clubs on Saturday, April 24th.

We will pay your club $200 per mile to pick up trash on our local roadways in selected areas of our community.

Folks …. this could lead to some really good extra money for your clubs to help our with a great program to keep our roadways clean.

When our community looks its best, visitors will feel attracted to our many restaurants and outdoor adventures, and long-time residents will want to stay there for the rest of their lives.

Operation Beautification will be held on Saturday, April 24th in coordination with the Highway 27 Clean Sweep and the Triple Bag Challenge.

Please note …… we expect to receive a lot of interest in this program, so money will be distributed on a first-come; first-serve basis.
