If you want to learn more about federal grants, Grant Writing 201 is for you!
In Grant Writing 201, scheduled for May 17, from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., you’ll learn some of the most important parts about preparing and submitting a successful federal grant application.
Instructor Melissa Vermillion, director of grants and contracts for Hazard Community and Technical College, will cover what to look for in a grant solicitation and how to make your application competitive.
Participants also will take an in-depth look at an online system, www.grants.gov, focused on improving access to services via the Internet. The website is currently the single access point for over 900 grant programs offered by the 26 federal grant-making agencies.
Grant Writing 201 is presented by The Center for Rural Development’s Business & Community Training Center. Registration is $149 per person.
