Join emcee and local film enthusiast John Alexander for Classic Movie Night at The Virginia, featuring two Halloween classics, Frankenstein and Dracula. This is a double feature — one ticket for $10 allows you to see both films with a short intermission in between.

The iconic 1931 horror film Frankenstein follows the obsessed scientist Dr. Henry Frankenstein as he attempts to create life by assembling a creature from body parts of the deceased. Released the same year, Dracula follows the dashing, mysterious Count Dracula (Bela Lugosi), who after hypnotizing a British soldier, Renfield (Dwight Frye), into his mindless slave, travels to London and takes up residence in an old castle. Soon Dracula begins to wreak havoc, sucking the blood of young women and turning them into vampires.
