This marks the fourth year of the annual Called Conference in Somerset.
Our theme of this year’s conference is Called to Worship. The event will be held at The Center for Rural Development on Saturday, September 7th, and will feature Christian Contemporary Band, Leeland. Leeland is a 4 Grammy-nominated band as well as an 8 Dove Award nominee and sings hits like Waymaker and Lion and the Lamb. The focus of this conference is to bring together the women of Pulaski Co. and surrounding areas to share in a night of worship through song and praise.
This year’s conference is also doubling as a benefit for Raina Simpson, who recently finished her battle with cancer has been united with her Lord, and is rejoicing in Heaven. She has exemplified the meaning of praising God in the middle of the storm. So, the Called Committee has decided a portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit the Simpson family in a manner of their choosing.
