PFLAG’s mission is to build on a foundation of loving families united with LGBTQ+ people and allies who support one another and to educate ourselves and our communities to speak up as advocates until all hearts and minds respect, value and affirm LGBTQ+ people.

PFLAG Inc. is the first and largest organization for LGBTQ+peoples, their parents, families, and allies with currently over 400 chapters and 200,000 members and supporters across the country.

PFLAG Somerset is incorporated as a non-profit by the Commonwealth of Kentucky and included under PFLAG Inc.’s federal 501(c)3 tax-exempt, non-profit status. Our Board of Directors is a diverse leadership team of eight grassroots volunteers
