Living Bread Soup Kitchen has proudly served the Pulaski County community since 2009, providing meals and support to those in need with compassion and care. Conveniently located behind the library in downtown Somerset (accessible through the basement door at the rear of the building), we offer a simple and welcoming drive-up service, ensuring everyone can receive assistance with dignity.

We serve meals every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, or until supplies last. In addition to hot meals, we provide food boxes on the third Tuesday of each month, along with pop-up distributions when additional resources become available. Emergency food boxes are also offered based on current inventory.

Each month, we extend our outreach by serving and delivering hot meals to the Nancy, Falbush, and Jabez communities from their local fire departments. Dates and details for these services, as well as additional distributions, are shared regularly on our Facebook page.

As the only soup kitchen in Pulaski County—and one of fewer than 20 across the state of Kentucky—we are proud to serve our neighbors and grateful for the continued support that allows us to make a difference in our community.
