Jeff Scribner creates using traditional acrylics on canvas and shoots/edits digital photography using Nikon and Adobe products. His fine art imagery covers both open and closed compositional abstract, semi-abstract, and abstract realism of rural landscapes and primarily photographs rural landscapes, farms, barn structures and wildlife.
The goal of my work is to create compelling visual imagery using the ‘less is more’ principle of design. Inspiration for my photography come from the works of Ansel Adams and Annie Leibovitz; I enjoy the simplicity of acrylics. I never get tired of seeing the interaction of the pigments on the canvas transforming whatever comes to my imagination.
