You’re cordially invited to attend our upcoming Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon on Tuesday, April 2nd.
We are excited to have Campbellsville University President, Dr. Michael Carter as our guest speaker.
Since 1999, Dr. Michael Carter has served as president of Campbellsville University.
During Carter’s tenure at Campbellsville University, the institution has experienced significant growth in student enrollment, number and quality of academic programs and fundraising success. In the past 16 years of Carter’s leadership the enrollment has grown from 1,600 to approximately 3,500 students. He has emphasized the Christian mission of not only educating the mind but to teach the importance of Christian Servant Leadership to Campbellsville University students.
Dr. Carter is a 1976 graduate of Marshall University where he received his Bachelor of Arts and Masters Degrees. Dr. Carter did additional graduate study at Andover-Newton Theological School in Newton Centre, Mass. and received a Ph.D. from Ohio State University in 1984.
Dr. Carter is married to Debbie Carter. They have three children: Wes Carter, Dr. Eric Carter, and Alicia Shea.
As always, our luncheon will be held at The Center for Rural Development and will begin at 12:00 (Noon).
Please mark your calendars to attend this event.
