For our justice system to succeed in achieving its goal of increased public safety\, it must take steps to ensure that these individuals are able to become successful and contributing members of their community.\nThe Pulaski County Detention Center’s inmate re-entry program has become a model for the rest of Kentucky to follow.\nOn Tuesday\, May 7\, the Pulaski County Detention Center will officially take ownership of the warehouse where inmates receive essential technical and soft skills training that sets them up for success upon release.\nJoin us for a special Chamber Business After Hours at 5:30pm as SPEDA transfers ownership of a warehouse at 82 Thannoli Drive to the jail to continue this life-changing program.\nWe will have a short ceremony at the warehouse\, tours\, and refreshments.\nGrab a bite to eat\, take a tour of the new facility and learn more about the importance of this program.\nThere is no charge to attend.\nFor more information\, please contact the Chamber at 606-679-7323
