SUMMARY:Tuesday's Together Family Fun Night
DESCRIPTION:With much thought and consideration after having to stop our Kid’s Club we decided to revamp to a Tuesday’s Together: Family Fun Night. This will be every Tuesday beginning June 14th from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. We will be extending our open hours by one hour on this night especially for this class for working parents who might not get off until 5:00 and needs time to get here. \nEach week we will plan something fun\, new\, artsy\, and crafty to do. Every 3 months we will plan a major Saturday event where you can specifically display all your projects and invite other family members to see the works that you created together as a family. The projects will vary based on how many families become involved and the ages of all children. We will make sure that we have age appropriate opportunities for all. \nThe first week\, we will just be doing paintings. This will allow us to work with families individually and get to know them better and get some ideas from them as to what they would like to do on this night of fun.\nThe cost each week will be $20.00 per family of four (This will include 2 adults and 2 children). Each additional family member will be $5.00 per individual. Come join the fun and paint your family colorful! \nAll revenues will go back into the gallery to help keep the doors open and to help us buy materials. All volunteers work for free. We do this for the love of art and to bring art and community together at low and affordable prices.

An industrial sector historically riddled with organized crime\, it has remained essentially unchanged since the time of the Romans. \nNate Morris is leading a technology revolution in the waste and recycling sector and is rekindling hope that lasting change and progress can be achieved in the global environmental movement. \n  \nMorris is a ninth-generation Kentuckian. Morris was born in Lexington and raised by a single mother and brought up in a working class home. One of his early role models was his grandfather\, a long-time union leader at the local Ford assembly plant. \nMorris attended George Washington University. Throughout his years at George Washington\, Morris carried a full course load and worked in government\, serving senators\, members of Congress\, and the Department of Homeland Security in the White House. After graduation\, Morris attended Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs. \nLunch will be held at The Center for Rural Development and will begin at 12:00 (Noon).

DESCRIPTION:Attention Current\, Potential\, and Former members of the Somerset Junior Woman’s Club…\n\nThe 2022 SJWC Membership Banquet and Officer & New Member Installation will be held Monday\, June 6th beginning at 6:00pm at Woodstock Lavender Company on Highway 39. The cost to attend is $20 per person. Please RSVP for yourself and any guest you might bring no later than May 31st.\n\nWe will have wonderful lavender-infused food and get the opportunity to cut some fresh lavender to take home. This is also when we will install 2022-23 officers and new members\, plus reveal the winner of our Clubwoman of the Year Award. And\, there will be some other fun surprises!\n\nAll current members are encouraged to attend and to feel free to bring a guest (mother\, sister\, friend\, daughter\, etc.) for the evening. This is also a great time for potential members to join us for and event to see what we are all about AND for former members to come for a visit or to rejoin.\n\nWe are having an exceptional year and plan to celebrate!!
