SUMMARY:SJWC Small Business Bounce
DESCRIPTION:The Somerset Junior Woman’s Club invites women to be part of the 2022 SJWC Small Business Bounce Poker Run on Saturday\, November 19th. This is basically the same event as the Boutique Bounce Poker Run\, just has a different name to encompass other small businesses we want to support.\n\nParticipants will meet us between 9 am and 10 am on November 19th at the original Baxter’s Coffee in Ogden Street. Once you get there\, you will pay your $25.00 (one person in a vehicle) or $20.00 each (for 2 or more people in a vehicle) registration fee and pick up your goodie bag\, first sealed playing card\, game instructions\, list of stops and special deals\, and your breakfast drink and pastry. A bit cedar lunch\, which is included with your registration\, will be available at a specified time at Amon’s Sugar Shack.\n\nYou will go to each small business partner to shop and get another sealed playing card. This year there will be a couple of extra prizes…one for the carload that spends the most money (based on receipts) at the stores and another for the woman who purchases something (valued at at least $5 at each stop) at the most individual stores. These prizes will be given at Don Franklin Chevrolet-Buick-GMC when everyone arrives at 5:30 pm with their sealed cards. The best individual poker hand will win the grand prize. In the event of a tie\, those who have a tied hand will play for the high card.\nREMEMBER why we charge a registration fee: This event will raise money for Operation Angel Care and other SJWC community projects.\n\nOur title sponsor is the Don Franklin Somerset Family of Dealerships!

DESCRIPTION:More than 60 of the finest Southern and Eastern Kentucky artists will join together to display and sell their wares at the 28th Annual Sheltowee Art Fair on Nov. 19-20 at The Center for Rural Development. \nEverything from baskets\, pottery\, quilts\, and nature and wildlife photography\, to contemporary furniture\, jewelry\, and musical instruments will be featured in the exhibit. \nFree Admission. \nThe exhibit is presented by the Sheltowee Artisans\, a group of regional artists and craftspeople who work in different mediums.  Started in 1994\, the Sheltowee Artisans take their name from a Shawnee word for “Big Turtle” and have grown over time to have more than 75 members. \nFollow this event on Facebook
