SUMMARY:RISE Women's Leadership Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:You’re cordially invited to attend the 10th installment of our RISE Women’s Leadership Luncheon Series on Wednesday\, October 23\, 2024.\n\nNow in its third year\, RISE continues to allow women leaders from across our community to network with like-minded individuals\, while beginning to build a strategic network of business contacts. Being part of RISE will connect you not only to professional mentors but to other women just like yourself who are seeking ways to grow professionally.\n\nOur next RISE luncheon will be held at Suits Us Farm Event Venue from 11am – 1pm.\n\nWe will be focusing on the topic of women owned small businesses.\n\nManaging Director of The Center for Rural Development\, Laura Glover will host a roundtable discussion with several women business owners from our local community.\n\nInvited panelist will include:\n\n\nBritani Shoemaker\, Pep & Pizzazz\nBrooke Keck\, Paul’s Discount\nChristen Bohanon\, Chick-Fil-A\nSarah Leigh\, Method: A Sweat Studio\nMelissa Heffelfinger\, Heffelfinger Tree Farm\nJennifer Bates\, Pro Trade Hardware & BBQ Supplies\nNatalie Franklin\, Happy Camper RV Park\n\nOur keynote speaker will be Kristin M. Smith.\n\nKristin Smith is a chef and owner of The Wrigley Taproom & Eatery in Corbin\, Kentucky. Her passion for honest\, thoughtful food and commitment to creating a sustainable\, supportive economy for local foodways in Appalachia sets her apart. Kristin’s leadership and talent have not gone unnoticed in the culinary world.
