SUMMARY:The Wandering Artists Opening Reception
DESCRIPTION:The Center for Rural Development is hosting a Meet-the-Artists reception for The Wandering Artists on Saturday\, March 2\, from 4 p.m.-5:30 p.m. to highlight their talented works of arts and introduce our newest art exhibit. \nThe Wandering Artists is a group of adventurous painters and sketchers who visit photogenic locations in the area to inspire their art. \nThey have painted scenes from Downtown Somerset\, Moody Farms\, Burnett Farms\, the backyard garden of U.S. Congressman Harold “Hal” Rogers (KY-05)\, the Lake Cumberland Wildlife Refuge Home of Liberty Nature Center\, and the Burkett homestead. \nThe annual Wandering Artist exhibit will be on display during March and April. There is no charge to attend the reception or view the exhibit. \nSpecial thanks to Karen’s Catering for providing the food for the reception. \nPlease come and meet the artists and see what they have created!
