DESCRIPTION:Just in time for Halloween…The Center for Rural Development and Lake Cumberland Performing Arts present School Time Theatre’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.\n\nOct. 12\, 2023\nTwo Shows: 10 a.m. & 12 p.m. (Noon)\nThe Center for Rural Development\n2292 South U.S. 27 (at Traffic Light 15)\, Somerset\, KY\n\nRecommended Grades (K-6) Folk Tales\, Language Arts\, Literary Classic\, Reading\, History\, & Music\n\nPresented by Virginia Rep on Tour\nBased on the story by Washington Irving\nBook\, Music\, and Lyrics by Paul Deiss\n\nJoin Ichabod Crane\, Brom Bones\, the lovely Katrina Van Tassel\, the residents of Tarry Town and\, oh yes\, the Headless Horseman\, as they live the story made famous by the legend. This autumnal classic is faithful to the original story written by Washington Irving in 1819 and will thrill and perhaps chill your audiences (though it’s not too scary for little ones). No fall is complete without the fun of telling stories\, and our retelling of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is one experience you won’t want to miss!\n\nReserve your seats now!\nAdmission is $6 per person for each show.
