DESCRIPTION:Mill Springs Battlefield National Monument is holding a remembrance event to commemorate the 161st anniversary of the Battle of Mill Springs on Saturday\, January 21\, 2023\, at 5:30 p.m. (ET) at Battlefield Tour Stop 3\, Last Stand Hill\, located at 1221 State Hwy 235\, Nancy\, KY.\n\n\nA short talk about the significance of the battle will accompany the luminary lighting. The program will be held outside\, visitors should plan to dress for the weather and consider bringing flashlights and chairs if needed. In the event of inclement weather\, the program will take place at the visitor center located at 9020 West Highway 80. The event is free and open to the public.
