SUMMARY:160th Anniversary Observance of the Battle of Mill Springs
DESCRIPTION:The brief 30-minute ceremony will take place at Zollicoffer Park. Visitors will stand where the soldier fought and are encouraged to arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of the program. It is recommended that visitors dress appropriately and bring chairs if needed. The park will be observing updated CDC guidelines and observing social distancing protocols. The Visitor Center is open until 15-minutes before the start of the program and reopen 15 minutes after. Following the program\, a 30-minute ranger lead tour will take place giving guests a better understanding of what took place. For those who want to explore rangers will also be at the Visitor Center and Museum\, Zollicoffer Park (Core Battlefield)\, and Beech Grove Confederate Encampment\, an event schedule will be available.  The event is free to the public.
