It’s once again that time of year when the Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce elitists the assistance of our local business community to help volunteer a few hours of your time to collect trash alongside Highway 27.
I am sending you this email to ask for your assistance with the 2017 Highway 27 Clean Sweep on Thursday, April 27th.
The 9th Annual Highway 27 Clean Sweep is an opportunity for Chamber business’s to demonstrate personal responsibility by volunteering to pick up litter along roadsides and local tourist attractions. Coordinating such a large campaign requires lots of participation, so we greatly appreciate your willingness to once again pitch in and make a difference.
With your assistance, a total of 1,090 volunteers from 65 different businesses donated 1,569 hours to remove 679 bags of trash along Highway 27 and surrounding areas during the day-long event, making this one of the largest Highway 27 Clean Sweeps ever !!!
We are currently looking for new businesses interested in helping out with this great community event.
If you would like to learn more, please contact the Chamber of Commerce at 606-679-7323 or firstname.lastname@example.org and we can provide you with details on how your business can get involved.
